CHRISTIAN SCIENCE CHURCHES

“God, the Only Cause and Creator” was the subject of the Lesson-ttennon in all Churches of Christ, {Scientist on ►Sunday, December 3. ( The Golden Text was from Isaiah, 43; 15, “1 am the Lord, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.’’ Among the citations which comprised the Lesson-Sermon were the following from tho Bible: “As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried; He is a buckler to all them that trust in Him. For who is God, save Ihc Lord, and who is a rock, save our God? God is my strength and power; and he maketh my way perfect.” (11. Samuel 22: 31-34).

Also the following passages from the Christian Science textbook, “Science and Health With Key to the Scriptures,” by Alary Baker Eddy: “And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good.” (Gen., 1:31). The Divine Principle, or Spirit, comprehends and expresses all, and ail must therefore be as perfect as the Divine Principle is perfect. Thus the ideas of God in universal being are complete and forever expressed, for Science reveals infinity and the fatherhood and moftherhood of Love.” (pp. 518, 519).
