BUTTER STEADY, CHEESE DULL Received Dec. 1, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 30. The butter market is steady at the lower level. Danish, 112 s per cwt.; choicest salted New Zealand, 72s to 735; Australian, 71s to 725. • Uusalteu butter is very scarce. Australian, 94s to 96s per cwt.; New Zealand, none offering. The cheese market is dull. New Zealand, white 49s per cwt., coloured 475, Australian, 47s 6d to 45s 6d. Joseph. Nathan and Co., I.td., have received from their principals, Trengrouse and Nathan, Ltd., London, the following cabled advice, dated Novem ber 30: “New Zealand butter, 72s per cwt.; very quiet. New Zealand cheese, nominal. White, 50s per cwt., coloured 495.” A. J. Mills and Co., London, cabk as follows market prices as ruling at the close of business on Thursday:— “Butter: The market is steady; New Zealand, finest 72s to 735, firsts 71s to 725; Danish, 110 s to 112 s; Danish, f.0.b., 90s; Australian, 70s to 725; Siberian, 68s to 70s. Cheese: The market is quiet; New Zealand, white 48s to 495, coloured 46s to 475.” ADVANCES ON SHIPMENTS Advances made by exporters to dairy factories as from to-day were 7d per lb. on butter and 4d on cheese. For November the advances were 9d on butter and 4d on cheese.
