TURBULENT TRIBESMEN BRITISH TROOPS READY. [ British Offica- Wireless. 1 RUGBY, July 29. Owing to the disturbed situation on the North-west Frontier of India a column of 4000 troops is expected io leave Peshawar to-morrow and proceed along the Gnndao Valley to support the chief of the loyal Halimzais tribes against a possible further incursion into their territory by the turbulent Upper Mohmands. A cavalary regiment and a section of armoured cars will stand by the Peshawar road. The Government is meanwhile awaiting the surrender of agitators who are attempting to disturb border peace and are sheltered by the Bajaur (ribe further north. Further measures may be necessary to enforce compliance with the Government’s demand for the surrender of these agitators. BOMBING ’PLANES OPERATIONS AT DAWN. Received July 31, 11.5 pm. CALCUTTA, July 3! I Four squadrons of Air Force ’nluncT are in readiness to begin bombing operations at dawn to-morrow over Bajaur, the territory the ruler of which, Khan of Khar, has refused to hand over three agitators known to be sheltering.
