COMMUNITY SINGING

Community singing is now rapidly becoming popular in Wanganui and the Savage Club’s fortnightly sings’ are greatly appreciated by a very large number of Wanganui people. Tho next “sing” will bo held by the club in conjunction with tho Garrison Band, on Saturday next, July 15, at 8 p.in. 2YA’s ever-popular Owen Pritchard and i rank Crowther will bo the song leaders and they will be assisted by tho Savage Club’s own song leaders, Mrs T. L. Spurring, and “Mac.” Assisting artists will be the Bridges’ Trio, Bob Howell, and Arthur Vernon. Plans are now open at Dobbs Bros’.
