AGREEMENT AT AUCKLAND AV AGE-CUTS AVOIDED- [ Per Freds Association. 1 AUCKLAND, July 11. The Auckland Transport Board has concluded an agreement with the Tram and Bus Employers’ Union for one year from August 12. This is ihe outcome of amicable negotiations for several weeks past. Wages are practically unchanged, but the management has secured conditions permitting more flexibility in operation. The chairman, Mr. J. A. C. Allum, said that tho board was unanimous that every effort should be made to avoid further retrenchment and that further cuts were not justified. >
