WORLD’S TALLEST MAN
SEVEN EEEt SIX INCHES. _ A young man who at tho age of 20 i» "ft. 6in. in height is expected to become the tallest man in the world. Local doctors who have examined him say they believe he will reach nine feet before ho stops growing. The man is Haus Shlihter. of Veliki Bechkerek, Jugoslavia, and his atnbition is to become a film star. At 16 he was a normal boy of sft. 4iu. Since then he has grown with ever-increasing speed. In tho last six months h© has gained six inches. If this rate is continued until he is 24—and doctors believe it will—ho will then be 9ft. tall. Hans is soon to serv© his nine months in the Jugoslav Army. Ho will (hen be the tallest man in the army, and will have special uniforms made for him. It takes six and a-half yards of material to make him r suit. All bis brothers and relatives are nonn.nl iu height.
