The chief grounds of Y lenge to the validity or the Bill are that the referendum was not con ducted according to law and the Bill not submitted to the electors before the poll. MAJORITY CREEPING UP Received Mav 17, 9.39 p.m. SYDNEY, May 17. The affirmative majority for the Legislative Council referendum, is now over 30,000 and is still creeping up.
