MAGISTRATE’S COURT. The monthly meeting of the Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday was one of very short duration, Air R. M. Watson, S.M., presided. Judgment by default with costs was given for plaintiff in the following cases:—E. Colthart v. W. Evans, £1 15s; Frederick McNie v. D. Wright. £l7 5s and order for possession of premises on or before June 7; W. J. Feltham v. R. H. Hansen, £1 Ils; Urwin and Drury v. R. 0. and J. E. Waterson, £8 7s 9d; Urwin and Drury v W. E. Bromley, £6 6s 6d. GOLF. The- following is the draw for the firs" bogey competition to be played at the week-end: —Baird and Bly th v. Johns and Ritchie; Alarshall and Canavan v. Davie and Brotherton; Newell and A. E. Urwin v. Wilson and J. Watt; A. Urwin and Dow v. T. Watt and Wild; Quilter and Cummins v. Feltham and Hanger; Windle and Jordan v. Connelly and Robertshaw; AshweE and Anderson v. Jones and Melville; Bowick and Netherclift v. Kirkwood and partner to be found.
