OTAKI MAYORALTY
MAGISTERIAL RECOUNT. OTAKI, May 10. A magisterial recount in connection with the recent Mayoral election at Otaki will take place on May 25. There was a difference of two votes between the candidates, Mr. C. F. Atmore (the present Mayor), and Mr. O’Rourke. A recount in connection with the election of councillors was concluded this afternoon, but there was no alteration as to the candidates elected.
