CRICKETER’S ORDEAL. Roy Sheffield, the Essex wicket keeper, who returned home a few weeks ago from South America, where he has been spending the winter, was arrested, in Para on suspicion of being a spy. Mr Sheffield stated that, afte> staying on a ranch near the Bolivia: border, where he did a good deal of cattle-punching, he was asked to take some papers to a Bolivian official som> distance down the river.
