SOVIET AND ITALY
NEW TRADE AGREEMENT. ROME, May 6. The new Italo-Soviet trade treaty has been signed. Russia will in 1933 place £2,250,000 worth of orders for Italian machinery and textiles. Italy will buy Russian coal, oil, and lumber. The Soviet denies that the arrangement has been hastened in consequence of the British embargo.
