HOUSE OF LORDS REJECTS BILL. LONDON, May 5. The House of Lords by 42 votes to 40 rejected Lord Danesforth’s Performing Animals Amendment Bill, prohibiting the training of chimpanzees and other anthropoid apes, lions, tigers, panthers and bears.
