INDIAN AIR MAIL
DELAYED BY VULTURE. WELCOME ASSISTANCE CALCUTTA, April 28. The Marquess of Clydesdale, flying back to England in the Mount Everest expedition’s Westland machine, appeared at Jodhpur to pick up the Eastern India air mail for England. The mail was stranded there, owing to the mail aeroplane having struck a vulture, w’hieh had damaged the aeroplane’s wing. Lord Clydesdale will make a speedy trip to Karachi to connect with the home-goiqg air mail aeroplane.
