THE MANGAWEKA. Messrs. Dalgoty and Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, report having held their Mangaweku sale on Thursday, May 4, when prices showed an easing tendency'and a dragging sale resulted. Store and fat cattle were not in demand. Quotations. —Two, 4 and 6th ewes, r.w. Romney rams, 9s; 2th to 4-yoar ewes, r.w. S.D. rams, 9s 9d; fat and fwd. b.f. lambs, 9s; b.e. lambs, ss; m.s. lambs, -Is 3d to 5s 6d; P.A. .cows, 25s Gd.
