Air. E. Pleasants, of Wanganui, is to leave early in June for Samoa, where ho will take charge of the practice of Air. G. Clinkmuellcr, solicitor, who is going to Europe on holiday. Air. Pleasants expects to be away for about two years, lie is well-known in the law circles of Wanganui and for 10 years was associated with Alessrs Bain and Fleming, recently taking over his own practice, which he will relinquish at the end of the month. In addition to taking a prominent part in the activities of the Wellington-West Coast regiment, in which he holds the rank of lieutenant, Mr. Pleasants has also done good work in the moulding of the Wanganui Harrier Club.
