GLOBE THEATRE

“DELICIOUS” “Delicious,” now playing at the Globe, is a musical romance wherein Janet Gaynor and Charles Farrell supply the romance and El Brendel the comedy. It presents a cross-section of virile immigrant life in the steerage of a great ocean liner including their quaint folk dances, their irrepresible good humour and joy in living Spontaneous gaiety and much comedy are woven through the picture which is told with a background of George Gershwin music. Headed by Janet’s love song ‘Somebody from Somewhere’ the songs introduced include “You Started It,” “Katinkitschka,” “Delishious” and “Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah with You” sung by El Brendel, plus the musical sensation “New York Rhapsody.”
