AT OPERA HOUSE
SPIVAKOVSKY-KURTZ TRIO Music lovers in Wanganui will be interested to learn that a concert will be given in the Opera House on Thursday, May 18, by the celebrated SpivakovskyKurtz Trio, who have just recently concluded a successful season in Sydney. Mr. Jascha Spivakovsky toured New Zealand in 1922, and many will be anxious to hear tho famous artist again. Associated with him are his younger brother, Tossy Spivakovsky, a violinist of international repute, and Edmund Kurtz, a ’cellist whose playing won enthusiastic praise in Sydney.
