N.Z. OTTAWA UNDERTAKING. [ Per Press Association. ] AUCKLAND, April 26. In a statement to-night, the Hon. J. G. Coates, Minister of Customs, said he expected to be able to announce, the personnel and order of reference of the proposed Tariff Commission very shortly. The Commission will i:e set up in accordance with the undertaking given by the Government at the Ottawa Conference, that the Dominion will hold a tariff inquiry for the purpose of finding out whether any industries are. uneconomic and whether, in anv respect, the British manufacturer does not have a reasonable opportunity to sell in New Zealand.
