MEETING OF ASSOCIATION. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. I Per Press Association. ) CHRISTCHURCH, April 26. The annual meeting of the New Zealand Hockey Association was held this evening. Officers elected were: Patron, the Governor-General; president. Air. H. S. J. Goodman (Otago); treasurer, Air. P. Al. Quartermain (Auckland); .secretary, Air. W. 11. Down (Dannevirke); management committee, Alessrs. R. Gracie (Nelson), H. Thorp (Buller), A. F. Preston (Manawatu), C. Bellamy (Canterbury), S. G. Holland (Wanganui), I. Gunn (Waikato), and C. C. Holland (Canterbury); auditor, Air. A. P. Stewart. It was decided that the management committee be recommended favourably to consider holding a South Island tournament for associations and sub-asso-ciations this season and the holding of an inter-island match.
