SHAKESPEARE
BIRTHDAY ANNIVERSARY Received April 26, 11.5 p.m. LONDON, April 25. The three hundred and sixty-ninth anniversary of Shakespeare’s birthday was celebrated at Stratford-on-Avon in tho presence of representatives of 30 nationalities to-day. The main streets were festooned with the flags of all nations and a new Union Jack presented by tho King was released by tho Mayor. The official delegates walked in procession to Shakespeare’s birthplace and later deposited floral tributes on his tomb in the parish church.
