PLAY AT PEAT PARK. I At Peat Park on Saturday in a Wanganui second grade competition match J Technical Old Boys defeated Marist A t on the first innings by 50 runs. A < feature of the match was a great knock < of 57 by R. Galycr (Tech. O.B.), who ( batted right through the innings, losing his wicket, with the last man in, when trying to force the pace. The batting honours of Marist went to P. Wallace ( who knocked up 28 in good style, while ’ C. Higgins (20) and E. Neale (not out 1 19) put on 38 for the eighth wicket. : Another feature of the game was the ■ display of Humphrey (wicket keeper ; for Teh. Old Boys) who allowed but one bye in the Marist inningsIn the bowling department honours went to W. Porteous (T. 0.8. who secured three wickets for 4 runs, and C.
