EIGHT-OARED RACING INTER-ISLAND EVENT PROPOSAL BY WELLINGTON £ Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON. March 20. A proposal to hold ar. inter-island eight-oared race after the interprovincial contest on April 1 has been made by tho Wellington Rowing Association, which decided to-night to approach the New Zealand Rowing Council for permission to add this event to the programme. The association decided I o adopt black and yellow hoops as the official -design for the Wellington provincial singlet.
