THE PICTURES “Waterloo Bridge,” a gripping wartime Universal picture, will be screened at the Town Hall this even ing and is recommended for adult audiences. Alac Clarke, Kent Douglas and Doris Lloyd are the leading artists, and “Waterloo Bridge” is said io be one of the best pictures of the year. CRICKET FIXTURES During the week-end the following friendly games will be played: Bulls v. Alarton Junction at Alarton, and Greatford v. Flock House at Pare wanui. BOWLING The Bulls Bowling Club will send two rinks to Palmerston North to-day to play Northern. A. K. Drew aud S Goebel will skip the rinks. BULLS TENNIS CLUB The following will represent Bulls in a tennis match against Bunnythorpe at Dulls this afternoon: Alanscll, Amos, Hendry and Drew, Aliss Walker, Airs. Alanscll, Aliss I. Walker and Aliss Goodall. On Wednesday, 30th, Bulls B grade team will visit Takaro. THE FLOWER SHOW Arrangements are well in hand for the annual flower show, which will be held in Bulls on Alonday and firstclass entries are assured in all sec lions, which comprise pot plants, roses, sweet peas and outdoor flowers; decorative sections, fruit, vegetables, domestic and industrial. Side shows, competitions, etc., will be in full swing at both afternoon and evening sessions. A tug-of-war competition in the evening also promises to be a great attraction. FACTORY FIGURES Alost dairy factories report increased outputs for the past mouth, and it is considered that tne peak of the season has been reached. Grading has been high, but the low prices ruling at Home for butter and cheese are reflected in the pay-outs hero. Following are particulars of factory reports in the Alanawatu district: Rangiotu Dairy Co.: Twenty-one cheese being made and the advance last mouth was lid. Oroua Downs Dairy Co.: Daily output, 68 export cheeses; grading satisfactory; October advance lid. Awahuri Dairy Co.: Daily output has risen to 230 boxe of butter and grading figure arc high, standing at 94$ points. Kairanga Dairy Co. (butter and cheese). Longburn factory is making 30 export cheeses and 140 boxes of butter, and grading is good. Kairanga factory is producing 37 export cheese daily and grading is high. Aokautcre factory is making 2S export cheese daily and grading is also high. At the Tiakitahuna factory 22 export cheeses are being made; grading satisfactory; advance 10$d. Reliance Dairy Co.: Twenty-seven export cheeses and advance 10$d. Tokomaru Dairy Co.: Forty-scven export cheese daily; grading good; advance lid. Whakarongo Dairy Co. (butter and casein): This factory is making 41 boxes of butter and 28 caseins daily; grading high; advances, butter 9Ad, casein lOd. New Zealand Farmers’ Dairy Union Ltd.: Daily manufacture, 175 boxes of butter; grading very well; advance 9|d.
