ARMED ROBBERS
BANK MESSENGERS SHOT. BANDITS DROP THE LOOT. BERLIN, Oct. 31. Armed robbers in a motor-car attacked two bank messengers carrying a box containing £2500 from a branch of the Reichsbank at Erfurt. They shot one dead and wounded the other. While loading, the .box on the car, a policeman came out .of a neighbouring station. The robbers dropped the box and fled. The constable fired at the car and it is believed.that one.robber was wounded. The encounter took place in a busy street. . ..
