The Dublin correspondent of tho Times says that with the Eucharistic Congress over, the political situation is again becoming the dominant topic. The Free State Government unani niously supports Mr de Valera’s refusal to allow the land annuities to be referred to arbitration by a purely Imperia) Court. A further Note is being prepared for Mr Thomas, in wrich it is expected that Mr de Valera will refuse point, blank to pay the instalment of annuities due on July 1.
