RETURNING PILGRIMS
FURTHER ATTACKS REPORTED LONDON, June 27. Trainlods of returning Eucharistic pilgrims wore stoned at Portadown, Lisburn and Bid fast. Another train cqnhiining wholly priests was heavily bombarded, necessitating the police at Belfast making a baton charge on the crowd. The attackers were armed with stones and bottles. The Ulster Government, has issued a statement regretting the cowardly outrages and ordering active measures to punish the offenders.
