STEEPLECHASE EXIT
PONJOLA FATALLY HURT A Hastings report announces that tho nine-year-old steeplechaser. Ponjola, broke his leg while schooling over the country on Tuesday morning, and had to bo destroyed. Pon join had only recently returned from an enforced spell of two years, and bis work up till yesterday had indicated that he had completely recovered from his old injury. He Mas owned by Mr. O. Nelson.
