MAJESTIC THEATRE “PLUNDER” Commenting on “Plunder,” the British comedy with exactly the same cast as “Rookery Nook,” Mr. Ramsay MacDonald. Prime Minister of Great Britain, said that it was the best picture he had ever seen.

Nothing could be more significant than the comment of “Variety,” a New York film and theatrical journal, after viewing Tom Walls and Ralph Lynn in Ben Travers’ "Rookery Nook.” We quote “Variety” in full: “If this is a symptom of what a down-trodden, debt paying, bai-jovc, how-d’ye-do country can do in the way of talkies, then Golf help Hollywood.” Such comment marks the first step towards the recognition by America of England’s equality, if not actual supremacy, in the production of highclass motion pictures. The gain thus won by “Rookery Nook” is further added to by "Plunder,” which will be screened at the Majestic to-day (Thursday) at 2.30 p.m. matinee and at 8 p.m., and also to-morrow (Friday) at 8 p.m. GENERAL NEWS Over 60 card players were present at the railway euchre party on Tuesday evening.
