FORESTERS’ LODGE
COURT RHODERJOK DHU NO. 4928 The fortnightly meeting of the Court Rhoderick Dhu No. 4926 was held in the Victoria League Rooms on Tuesday last at 7.30 p.m. In tho unavoidable absence of C.R. Bro. Dogherty, P.C.R. Bro. Kilpatrick presided over a good attendance of members. The following officers were present: P.C.R. Bro. Kilpatrick, I.P.C.R, Bro. Thompson. S.C.R. Bro. Christmas. S.W. Bro. Mann J.W. Bro Smidt, S.B. Bro. Thiele, J.B. Bro. A. Carlton. Tho sick pay officer, Bro. Thompson, reported on the members at present on tho funds, and the sick pay was passed for payment. The secretary read the correspondence, which was received, and accounts were passed for payment. S.W. Bro. Mann moved, and Bru. F. Carlton seconded, that a letter of sympathy be forwarded to Bro. Wallace on the death of his son. Bro. Kilpatrick reported on a meeting of the Dispensary Board, and Bro. Price on a meeting of the United Friendly Societies’ Council. The Court decided to hold a Christmas treat for the children in the Victoria League Rooms, St. Hill Street, on Saturday, the I2th December, at 2.30 p.m. Two candidates were proposed and seconded for initiation into the lodge. Quarter night will be held on the next meeting of the lodge on Tuesday. December 1, at 7.30 p.m.
