THRILLING STRUGGLE NEW SOUTH WALES CHAMPION GRAY WINS THE FINAL SYDNEY,.Nov. 23. After a thrilling struggle, C. Gray won the New -South Wales golf championship by a stroke from T. Howard. V. Richardson picked up before the finish. Gray’s scoics were 70 and 77, and Howard’s 73 and 75. The lead see-sawed in the afternoon round and at the end of the 17th the players were level. Gray sent his tee shot seven feet from the pin. Howard played, into a bunker, but recovered to within four feet of the hole. He missed the putt and Gray was the winner.
