It It is understood that the hierarchy of the, Roman Cataolie Church decided after a conference, to oppose the Religious Instruction in Public Schools Ennbling Bill now before the House of Representatives, and that a memorandum to this effect has been signed by Archbishop Redwood, Bishop Liston, Bishop Brodie and Bishop Whyte. It is expected tha f the church’s attitude will be made known in an authoritative manner in a few days’ time.
