GOLF. Twenty-two players from the Eltham Club visited Patea during the weekend and played a mat*ch with the local team. Eltham won by to 3£ games iu the morning’s play, and by 7 to 4 on tne afternoon results. Mr Stewart, iu a short speech, thanked the Patea members for their hospitality, to which Air C. B. Honeylieid replied, followed by cueers for winners and losers. Following are tne results, Patea players being mentioned first: Afternoon Games: Wills and Findlay lost to J. and L. Father Hegarty and Currie beat Wank.yn and Gibson; Besley and Mitchell beat Do Launay and Fisher; I. Honey field and Young lost to AlcKay and Free; E„ Harris and Robinson lost to Oldfield and Stauners; Meharry and Thompson beat Fallows and Jones; C. Honey field and G'lenny lost to Arthur and McWilliams. Aforning Games: Wybourne and Findlay won from J. and L.
