NOVELTY PARTY.
Mr and Mrs Hector Christie gave a most enjoyable 4 ‘novelty” party at their home on St. John 's Hill, on Saturday evening, in honour of Miss M. Hanton, whose marriage takes place shortly. A very happy evening was spent solving competitions and playing games. The guest of honour was the recipient of many novelty gifts. Among those present were:—Mr and Mrs D. Weir, Misses Hanton, Brailsford, Smith, Walker, Robb, Coombe, Key, Gibb, Scott, Christie (3), Marsh, Kidd, Stoddart, Messrs Brownie, Kidd, Walker (2), Lancaster, Glenny, Hanton and Tizard.
