Pritchard, G. Crosland, A. Bernau, W. Bromley, P. Cole, 8. Harris and J. Cole. HOCKEY. There will be no hockey played here to-day, nor for the rest of the season, Bulls ladies having retired for the meantime. Although not very successful this year, better things may bo expected next season, many of the players having had practically no experience of the game, and showing improvement as the season advanced. Although generally defeated, players enjoyed their games, and, for a first year, put up solid defence against older and more experienced, artistes with the curved stick. BULLS M.R. CLUB. There was a good attendance of members at Monday evening’s shoot on the Buis range, and scoring was high, D. Lundy putting on a double “possible,” and J. Carter and B. Banks also gaining one “possible.” Scores were as fol-

THE BUSY BEES. That little band of energetic workers, Bulls Busy Bees, will hold a concert in the Gospel Hall on Thursday evening, and, being for a good cause, the entertainment should be well patronised. The Busy Bees held a “shop” in the Town Hall lobby on Monday, and despite the wet day showed a profit of about £B, which will assist the Mission Fund. RANGITIKEI GOLF CLUB. Then were visitors from Wanganui, St. John’s, Rapanu, Park and Patea Clubs, including Mr Jones, president of the Wanganui Centre. The membership stands at 36 members (29 active, five ladies, and two honorary). The lowered subscription o for first year players encouraged five to join. Four members resigned, including Mr G. Hunter, who has been a member for over 23 years. The financial aspect of the club is very satis factory, the credit balance being increased by nearly £6 on the credit balance at the end of the 1929 season. Club matches were played at Paten (five games), who won all games; Par!,. Wanganui, Hawera, Wanganui West, and Rapanui. The Nixon Cup games were cut out and no doubt a number of good games missed. A Pairs Tournament was started at Faster time, but was not completed. There were five banner games played. Patea winning four of them, and thus retaining the banner. The club was not represented at either Wanganui or New Plymouth tournaments. The green was tondressed soon after the close of the season, and should be in good order for the commencement of this season The thanks of the club are due to Mt Wicks as green supervisor, and also to those members who had assisted him from time to time. Thanks are also due to the ladies for their assistance with the afternoon teas, and Mr J. Currie for auditing the accounts. Mr Catanach. to Mr S. J. Taylor, and all others who had assisted during the season in anv wav.
