BANKRUPTS DISCHARGED
SUPREME COURT HEARINGS THREE MOTIONS OPPOSED Bankruptcy matters were dealt witli bv Air Justice Blair in the Supremo Court at AVanganui yesterday. Discharges were granted to the following, there being no opposition: George Thomas Phillips (Mr Brown); Arthur Norman Lynch (Mr Brodie); AVilliam, John Roes (Air AVilson); Alexander William Ald worth (Mr Hussey); Thomas Edmund Thomas (Mr Barton); David Kendrick (Mr Alaclean); Fred Branch. • Air Blennerhassett); AVilliam Alexander D’Arcy, senr. (Mr Blennerhassett). Opposition was made to discharges being granted to Alahel Eleanor Jackson and Walter Oram Casbolt. Both cases were adjourned for hearing at a later date. » Opposition to a discharge granted to Harold Henry Bowater, of Raetihi (Mr Ritchie), was entered by Mr AVilson, acting for McFarlane and Son. Objection was with regard to tho unsatisfactory payment of debts. His Honour pointed out that the discharge was not opposed by the Deputy Official Assignee. He further stated, after hear* ing argument from both counsel, that he did not want to grant an unconditional discharge, but would grant at discharge, to be postponed for six months.
