Seeking to launch a worthy successor to “The Trespasser,'- which was lauded internationally as one of last year’s outstanding screen productions, Gloria Swanson recently completed the most pretentious picture of her career, “What a Widow!” a modern comedy. It has been booked for showing at the Regent Theatre to-morrow. Directed by Allan Dwan, “What a Widow!” is the star's first comedy offering in several seasons. Yet it has not been designed to afford light entertainment without any at temp b to please the eye.
