STRANDED LA PEROUSE
THE VESSEL REFLOATED SYDNEY, June 19. Advice has been received that the steamer La Perouse has been refloated after being ashore for twenty-four hours on Amedee Island. The vessel has reached Noumea. The La Perouse is a French steamer of 4885 tons, owned by the Mcssageries Maritimes, and regularly engaged in the service between Sydney, New Cale donia, and the Now Hebrides.
