While I was on the d steps of the diving-board I fell on to the d concrete and hurt my left eye, arm and it wrist. I was in bed for a week with a 1 black eye. However, I was soon better ■ 1 again. Thank you very much for putting e my birthday greeting in the paper. I receivd ed a lovely number of presents, some of e them being: three books, two bottles of s bath salts, a tablet of soap, four handkerh chiefs and £4 5s 6d. My grandma, aunty, [i mother and myself went to Taihape not long t | ago, and had dinner and afternoon tea at ci my aunty’s house. At six o'clock we came - ' home, having spent an enjoyable day. On ' Anzac Day two of my friends and I went - ■ to see “The Nipper.” and on the Saturday, 1 Olga, my friend, and I went to see "Reduc- . ing.” We had a good laugh. Yesterday my 1 father and I saw "Hook, Line and Sinker” i. and enjoyed it very much. Next Wednesday is our first term examination, and I am I quite excited about it. We have two cats. I One is grey and the other is black. They have great fun together chasing each other ; , around the lawn, and it is great fun watch- . ing them. With love.—From “PLUM ?
