"FAIRY KEWPIE" POPS IN
Dear Wendy,—Here 1 am again writing to yuu this week. How are you getting on? I will be in Standard 11. at. the end of this month. Please, Wendy, when are you holding the Wendy picnic, and where is it to be? I would very much like to go. My mother lost my brother, Alan, in town, ’ and found him al the Police Station. We have five little puppies. I have been staying with “Dawn Fairy" for the holidays. I went to a birthday party last Sunday. My little baby brother, Kevin, will be a year old on July 1. Our little black Persian kitten followed daddy over to the cowshed, and one of the cows tramped on it and a few days later it died. 1 felt, very sad. Several days ago snow fell on the high hills near my home, and the day was very cold. I will close now. best. wishes. The picnic will be hold later. It will probably be at Kaungaroa. I hope you will be able to attend. Goodness. but how worrier! mother must have been until she found him nt the Police Station. What fun you must, have had while staying with "Dawn Fairy." Oh. but. how ->ad your little kitten died. The weather has been cold, hasn’t it ? Wendy.
