The thermometer register ed over a hundred at a number of in land centres. This was followed by winds and thunder storms. A hurricane ;.t Bombala, on the South Coast was the worst for years. A tropical cyclone of the willy-nilly type is centred over the northern parts of West Australia, where general rain has fallen. Good rain is also reported from Central Australia.
