A challenge has been thrown out to Mr A. 8. Burgess by Air Donald Ross in connection with harbour matters.
Voicing his opinions on utterances at the recertt Development League meeting to a gathering of farmers at Okoia last night, Mr Ross was very pointed in his reference to some of the speakers “Mr Burgess says that Air Ross hasn’t changed his opinions for the last forty years,” he said. “Ho must bo a thought reader. I will challenge Mr Burgess to contest the election with me next time and, if he wins, good luck to him.”
Mr Ross expressed himself very forcibly about the Development League also: “What have they done and what will they ever do?” he wanted te know. . “Nothing.”
