MAN IN CRITICAL CONDITION. ( I’er Press Association. ] CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 15. Alex Brown, middle-aged, single, of Rakaia, was walking along the railway track near Addington station to-day when he was struck by the south express, which was then moving slowly. Ho received serious head injuries ana his condition is reported to be critical. Brown was taking a short cut to the station to catch a train to his home at Rakaia.
