Decline in Trade
UNITED STATES FIGURES FOREIGN EXPORTS HALVED (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright] Received Aug. 17, 8.30 p.m. WASHINGTON,A ug. 15. The Department of Commerce announced that the United States foreign trade had dropped in July to the lowest figure for five years, exports 269,00u,000 dollars and imports 219,000,000 auilars, a decrease from the previous July figures of 133,000,000 dollars for exports and 134,000,000 for imports.
