Mr R. G. Sincock, Wanganui district manager for the Government Tourist Department, has left for the South Island on hid annual vacation. Guests at Foster’s Hotel at present include Mr and Mrs J. M. James (Masterton), Messrs F. H. Gruar, F. B. Barnhouse. C A. Barlow and J. D. M. Foreman (Wellington), Messrs J. Maloney and G. A. Hardley (Auckland), Mr and Mrs B. Scanncll (Napier), Mr J. D. Lundie (Sydney), Mr G. Pope (Strutford), Dr. and Mrs H. T. Dawson and Mr F Dawson (Pahiatua) and Mr and Mrs 11. V. Hoadley (Hastings). The president of the Methodist Church, the X-v. A. N. Scottcr, 8.A.. of Christchurch, and the vice-president, Mr A. Peak, of Auckland, arrive in Wanganui this afternoon They will bo entertained by tho local church.
