PIGEON FLYING
WANGANUI CLUB RACE FROM OHAKUNE Tho Wanganui Pigeon-Flying Clubh birds were liberated for a two-bird flock raco on Saturday by the stationmaster at Ohakune, an air-line distance of 41 miles 1056 yards. A light northeast wind with clear weathor made ideal conditions for pigeon-flying and P. J. Mailman’s birds won in the good time of 49min. 29sec. with E. Carved (51min. 25see) second and W.
