IMPERIAL CONFERENCE
THE OBSERVER’S HOPES A COUNCIL OF EMPIRE LONDON, June 22. The Observer editorially hopes that the Hon. J. H. Thomas will try to raise the Imperial Conference entirely above party either at home or overseas. It must be full of free discussion, not excluding any suggestion. The views of all parties should be heard and the various Parliamentary oppositions ought to be represented in order that the conference may meet as an unprejudiced Council of State for the whole Empire.
