MOTOR ACCIDENT

A PASSENGER KILLED [ Per Press Association. ] WAIROA, Feb. 8. A serious motor accident occurred on Tarewa Hill, near Morere, late last night, when a car, driven by Mr Tom Dennis, the well-known Maori All Black, and containing three passengers went over a bank through the lights failing when negotiating a bend, rolling two chains through the fence. A mid-dle-aged Maori, Mr Teddy Nepia, was killed outright, but two lady passengers escaped with cuts on the legs. Mr Dennis suffered injuries to his back and was taken, to hospital* . -
