SPEED OF A TRAIN
PASSENGERS COMPLAIN [ Per Press Association ] CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 30. As the result of alleged excessive speed of the express train from Greymouth to Christchurch on Saturday, 20 passengers made a formal complaint in writing at Springfield, after having previously complained to the guard. It is stated that the carriages swayed alarmingly, especially in the tunnels.
