ARBITRATION OFFERED
WOOL AND TEXTILE TRADE. THE DISPUTE IN BRITAIN. (Australian Press Assn.J Received August 19, 11 p.m. LONDON, Aug. 19. The executive committee of the Wool and Textile Trade Unions rejected an offer by their own representatives on the Industrial Council to accept a 71 pur cent, reduction in wages. They authorised th e delegates to meet the employers, who are demanding a 10 per cent, reduction, and offer arbitration.
