A RECORD YEAR’S CLIP. [ Australian Press Assn. ] SYDNEY, July 22. According to the Commonwealth Statistician’s return the wool clip for 1928-29 is a record, and is estimated to produce 950,000,0001b5., exceeding the 1926-27 record by 26,0()0,0001bs. Another interesting feature is that despite the fact that the number of sheep is slighly below that of 1891, the increase in the production of wool over that year exceeds 39,000,000 pounds weight .equal to 48 per cent.
